Class of 1966 59th Reunion Report

A total of 37 '66ers gathered at Reunions this past weekend along with spouses, partners, children, grandchildren, and widows of deceased classmates. Highlights were the P-rade and the class dinner at Terhune Orchards, although many of us attended faculty-alumni forums, plays, concerts, fireworks, and other reunion activities.

We were hosted by the 60th reunion class of '65 and gathered Friday night for pizza dinner under a tent between Campbell & Alexander Halls. The P-rade gets longer every year, but the weather was pleasantly comfortable this time. Jay Lagemann and his tigers were missed, but Jay says he and they will be back for the 60th.
 

Terhune was wonderful, as always. Gary and Pam Mount were assisted this year by their daughter Tannwen. The food, much locally grown, and the Terhune wine was excellent. The cherry and other pies are not to be missed. The Tigerlilies serenaded us, adding a "Happy Birthday" for Henry Von Kohorn before we awarded Henry the '66 Locomotive Award. The award recognizes Henry's work establishing, building, and sustaining the Princeton Prize. This video from the 2025 symposium shows the fruits of Henry's efforts.

 

A nearly perfect rainbow appeared at the end, bringing forth song from our president; you'll need to see the photos.
