PRINCETON CLASS OF 1966 CLASS OFFICERS TO SERVE FROM THE END OF THE 55TH REUNION UNTIL THE 60TH |
Rick lives in Boston. To Princeton from Keokuk, Iowa. Majored in Latin American Studies, ate at Cottage, played football and golf. Army veteran. Stanford MBA 1975. Successful career in financial services and planning, retired early to concentrate on community service and non-profits. Currently Reunions Co-Chair, New England Regional VP. Has served on various Class committees over the years. Just returned to Boston in 2020 from two years at Stanford University Distinguished Careers Institute. First met his wife, Ann Spence, at Princeton in 1965, where she was one of the first female transfers in the Critical Languages Program. Married in 2014, they have five kids, ten grandkids, and two great-grandkids between them. Rick says those numbers are "progress reports” — but only in the last two categories.

Californian who moved to Baltimore and then came to Princeton. Math major, Key & Seal secretary, Ph.D. Computer Science from Penn. Moved from consulting to being an Associate Professor in CS at the University of Kentucky to 30 years in R&D innovation in the computer industry. Deeply involved with Princeton, including board positions with the Princeton Association of New England and chair of the large Boston area Alumni Schools Committee. Most importantly, he has been the '66 Web Guru, who maintains our website and counsels us on all things technical, including for Masked Men. He and Linda have two kids and two grandkids. |
A Californian who came to Princeton after growing up in Montreal. Economics major, Tower Club, All-American fencer and team captain, Glee Club. Founded his own investment firm in 1985 and ran it very successfully until retiring recently. Many community activities, long time Chairman of youth singing program, announces high school and college sports, was named Orinda (CA) Citizen of the Year. Was ’66 Treasurer for the five years after graduation. He and Tish live in Orinda, three kids and four grandkids. |

History major, President of Terrace, officer on the Bicker Committee (no, don't call him about your club assignment), heavyweight crew, Interclub Council, Chapel Choir. M.A./Ph.D. Education Stanford. Met Peg at Terrace and married right after graduation. Taught at Columbia and Rochester, rose to be Dean of the School of Education at Rochester, then back to California in same role at USC, now emeritus. Executive Advisor to EY-Parthenon on the education industry. Volunteers on several education-related boards. Two kids, four grandkids, he and Peg live in Rancho Mirage, California. |
SECRETARY and MEMORIALIST Norm Tabler A religion major from Indiana, followed his brother ’65. Ate at Campus. Master’s in religion from Yale “but I couldn’t serve both God and Mammon,” so then J.D. from Columbia; spent his professional life on health law, both in one law firm (twice) and as general counsel of an Indiana hospital system. Very funny writer (read his 40th Reunion essay), wrote jokes for four Indiana governors and Indiana Public Radio. The pinnacle of Norm’s career in humor occurred in 2016 when he won the New Yorker cartoon caption contest. (Can you name the other 1.5 known classmates who have won it?) Class officer and memorialist; you won’t get to read what he writes about you in PAW but you can read about others. One child, one grandchild, one Bulldog (Albert); Norm and Dawn live in Indianapolis. |
Immigrated from Germany 1952, came to Princeton from an inner city Catholic school in the Bronx, became a citizen our senior year. English major, Campus Club, Trenton Tutorial Program. Army veteran, Tokyo duty. Worked in education for several years, then got MBA in Accounting at University of Texas Austin. Career in the financial services industry, CFO and Director of Regulatory Compliance at multiple New York firms, member of NACD NY Business Conduct Committee. Currently VP Finance for the Princeton Club of New York. He and Nancy live in Princeton, two kids, five grandkids. |

Born in Princeton, no less, son and grandson on both sides of Princetonians. Politics major, Cap & Gown, part of the Right Wing Club when it meant something very different than today. Decided he wanted to live in Denver rather than be a commuter and moved there right after graduation. Worked in energy banking, also bought a ranch. Started his own investment banking firm which he ran for 15 years, then moved to Florida, became involved in commercial real estate, and married Jeanie. Has served on many non-profit boards in the Bradenton area, where they live. Three sons, and he and Jeanie have 11 grandchildren between them. |
