ROBERT ENEAS LAMBERTON III

Bob Lamberton, president of Lamberton Properties, Inc., died suddenly at his home, April
22, 1985. At the time of his death. Bob was actively involved in land development in
Philadelphia, the home from which he entered Princeton. He had made real estate his
career since his discharge from the Air Force in 1973—holding positions of increasing
responsibility with Strouse Greenberg, Rouse, & Associates, the Broadbent Development
Co., and finally his own development company.

Bob was a former national director and vice president of the National Association of
Industrial and Office Parks, a member of the executive council of the Urban Land
Institute, the board of trustees of Chestnut Hill Academy, the Philadelphia Cricket Club,
and the School’s Committee of the Princeton Club of Philadelphia.

Bob entered Princeton from Jenkintown High School. At Princeton, he roomed with
Tom Allison, Colon Hamilton, and Jim McAfee and took his upperclass meals at Colonial
Club. He majored in politics and wrote his senior thesis under John Strange. Following
Princeton, Bob earned an MBA from Wharton.

“Lambie” will be remembered, and missed, for his affable and outgoing approach to
his classmates during our four years together. Those classmates extend their deepest
sympathy to Bob’s wife, Carol Weymann Lamberton; their three children, R. Tucker,
Amanda, and Stephen; as well as Bob’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Lamberton, Jr.
