MICHAEL JESSUP EVANS
Born on October 31,1941, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Raymond F. and Elizabeth Evans, Mike
died on January 10, 1975. He entered Princeton from Tabor Academy in Marion,
Massachusetts, following in the footsteps of his father, Raymond F. ’31, and his brother,
T. Raymond ’57. A history major, Mike worked with Professor Sigmund on the problem
of British Colonial relations in East Africa. He lived alone senior year and ate his meals
at Cap and Gown. Mike participated in the Trenton Tutorial Project and was a member
of the African Affairs Committee. He is survived by his wife, Lynn, of Watertown
Massachusetts; three brothers, T. Raymond, Whitney, and Andrew W, and his parents.
