At Princeton Burn majored in Basic Engineering and took his meals at Charter Club.  He was enrolled in Navy R.O.T.C. and participated in the Trenton Tutorial Project.  He was a football manager and a Keyceptor.

In 1968 Burn earned an M.B.A. from Harvard.  He served as an investment manager in New York City and later established and presided over his own firm, The Eaton Group, Inc., in Montgomery.

In addition to pursuing his career, Burn was devoted to his family and to a number of organizations and individuals in Montgomery in need of help.

Burn’s daughter Elizabeth (Princeton ’93) predeceased him.  He is survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Kingsley Briggs, and daughter J. Carrie Eaton.  The Class extends its heartfelt condolences to Kingsley and Carrie.
