CLASS OF 1966

Ron was an infant when his family fled their native Poland for a displaced persons camp outside Munich in order to escape Russian domination.  They had already survived Nazi persecution by hiding in a forest.

When Ron was four, an uncle sponsored the family’s immigration to the United States.  They took up residence in Trenton, and Ron began the process of abandoning Yiddish for English.  An excellent student at Trenton High, he graduated at age 16.  At Princeton he belonged to Terrace Club and majored in History.  He was coxswain of the freshman crew and a member of Whig-Clio.

Following Princeton, Ron earned a law degree at Yale.  He served the VISTA program in a legal aid office in Ann Arbor, Michigan, before moving to the Los Angeles area, where he rose to prominence as one of the area’s leading real estate lawyers.
